American Burger in New Monterey is pleased to present another Hawaiian night!  This time, we'll be welcoming the fantastic slack key guitarists Dennis Kamakahi and Stephen Inglis as they present songs from their most recent album, Waimaka Helelei, dedicated to Bernard Punikai'a and the people of Kalaupapa.  Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.  Space is limited; reserve your spot by phoning American Burger at 831-373-7573.

Dennis Kamakahi is the winner of multiple Grammy Awards and is a 2009 Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame inductee.  A former member of the legendary Hawaiian folk music group, the Sons of Hawaii (1974-1992), he became well known  during the Hawaiian Renaissance of the 1970's for his music compositions.

Stephen Inglis is recognized as one of the most diverse artists in Hawaii today. Equally at home on the acoustic and electric guitar, the art of Ki Ho’alu (Hawaiian slack key guitar) has been at the heart of his music in recent years.
