Want to know how you, your friends, and family can be safer in the event of an emergency?  Monterey CERT is offering a free class in emergency preparedness, including emergency medical response, fire extinguisher use, shutting off utilities, search and rescue techniques, and much more. The class will be held on seven Thursday evenings, September 6 - October 18, 6:30pm-9:30pm.

We encourage community members, including local merchants, to consider attending the class and learning important emergency response skills. There is no charge to attend this program for people who live or work in Monterey, Pacific Grove, or Carmel!
