Movies in the Park 2012!

Movies in the Park 2012 has been Extended!

Movies in the Park 2012 has been going so well, we've decided to add an additional Halloween Movie on October 13th. The movie to be shown will be decided by audience vote at the September 8th showing of Back to the Future so if you're time traveling, be sure to be back in time to vote for the spooky movie that will be shown on October 13th.

About Movies in the Park

The New Monterey Business Association presents Movies in the Park! Bring the whole family and enjoy a cinematic evening under the stars on the second Saturday of the month at Scholze Park in New Monterey.

All Movies In The Park will be held outdoors at Scholze Park, located at the corner of Lighthouse Ave and Dickman Ave in front of Scholze Park. All films will begin after sunset, but you are welcome to come early and bring a picnic. Remember to dress warmly and bring blankets and/or chairs. Please do not bring pets or alcohol. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Pickup Free Movie Tickets

Admission is free, but because space is limited tickets must be obtained in advance from any participating shop along Lighthouse Avenue in Monterey (look for the Movies in the Park poster in the window).

At the event, your movie tickets will become raffle tickets, entered into a drawing for great prizes from local businesses!

Snacks for Sale at the Show

It wouldn't be a proper movie experience without your favorite movie snacks. Bay View Academy will be selling snacks to benefit their organization at all Movies in the Park events.

Sponsorship Opportunities

If your organization is interested in participating as a marquee sponsor of one of this year's Movies in the Park showings or future Movies in the Park events, please email info@lighthousedistrict.net.
