Flyer Publicizing Plastic Bag BanBeginning this Sunday, July 1, Monterey City Council has banned the distribution of single-use plastic bags and requires a 10-cent charge per paper bag. The City ordinance will affect retail shops but NOT restaurants.The City of Monterey has produced a nice flyer you can print out and hang in your window.
