On April 18, 2009, the Monterey Hostel celebrated Monterey County Clean-Up Day with a volunteer clean-up of Cannery Row from Lovers Point to San Carlos Beach. After all the work, volunteers gathered that afternoon at the Hostel for a BBQ.
