The NMBA is asking all member businesses to consider adding a link to LighthouseDistrict.net on your website. If you use e-mail newsletters to communicate with your customers, please also mention LighthouseDistrict.net in your newsletters. Adding our link to your website and e-newsletters is an easy way to spread the word about the NMBA's great website, and everyone profits from the increased publicity! And don't forget, if you have events or special sales happening at your business, be sure to post them on LighthouseDistrict.net. The dates have been set and the movies have been selected for the New Monterey Business Association's annual outdoor film series, Movies in the Park, held on the lawn of Scholze Park Community Center! Movies in the Park Schedule July 10: Viva Las Vegas August 14: Turner & Hooch September 11: Raiders of the Lost Ark The NMBA is still accepting movie night sponsors! Sponsoring businesses get their name and logo on the poster, tickets, program, and web page, and are included in a pre-movie PowerPoint presentation to the audience. Board meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Rabobank Community Conference Room at 599 Lighthouse in New Monterey. These meetings are open to all members. Member input is encouraged and relevent items will be agendized for future board action or referred to the appropriate committee. Below is the meeting schedule for 2010: |
