Photos of the Bay View Elementary Garden Club at work in 2010. The club meets every Friday after school where the children, with the assistance of parent volunteers, dig up weeds and plant strawberries, swiss chard, lettuce, peas, carrots, string beans, arugula, and radishes. But that's not all…they've also assembled a worm compositor, planted bulbs flowers, saved a rose plant, hung a hummingbird feeder, created a path from stone, and had a great time digging in the dirt!
