Donate to Super Bowl Dinner for the Disadvantaged at American Burger

Posted on January 21st, 2020 by American Burger

American Burger, Athletes that Care, and Al & Friends present a Super Bowl Dinner for the disadvantaged on Sunday, February 2. We'll provide a warm meal while they watch the big game on our big TV and have fun. We're now seeking donations to help support this event.

You can sponsor a meal - $15 will feed a disadvantaged person in our community - and/or buy raffle tickets for a chance to win a new, 58" LED TV. We're also accepting gently used clothing items.

You can purchase raffle tickets and drop off donations before February 2 at American Burger (738 Lighthouse Avenue in Monterey). Both Athletes that Care and Al & Friend are non-profit organizations, so your donations will be tax deductible.

Athletes that Care, founded by Matthew Gibbs, is a local group of high school athletes that provide sandwiches, clothing, and other items to homeless in Monterey.

Al & Friends, founded by Al Siekert, is a local group that serves breakfast to the homeless every Sunday at Window On the Bay Park in Monterey.
