The Monterey Public Library reopened on Thursday, June 11 for grab-and-go pick-up of books placed on hold. Pick-up hours will be Tuesday - Saturday, 11am-6pm. The community currently has over 2,000 items on hold at the library!
How will you know when your book is ready? Customers will receive e-mail notification that their hold is ready for pick-up. Then you must come to the library, bring your library card, wear a face mask (be a hero!), and practice social distancing while you pick-up your book at the curb.
Please keep in mind that the Library facility remains closed and most library staff are still temporarily laid off. But many of the library’s services are available online, including the Summer Reading Program for all ages, Thursday morning Music & Rhymes with MaryLee, and downloadable audiobooks.
