Annual November Skulls Art Show at Headdress

This event has already passed

Headdress Salon presents our annual Day of the Dead inspired art show, November Skulls, featuring work by Heather Jorgensen (a.k.a. Lili Jorge), Michelle Robertson, and Luis Avila, on Sunday, November 7, 1pm-5pm. Come celebrate life, art, and community! All art work is for sale.

Heather Jorgensen, the artist behind Lili Jorge, creates multi-media shadow boxes made with recycled material and inspired by Mexican folk art. Using old cigar boxes and recycled material, she creates pieces that express the delicate balance between life and death. Each piece is unique.

Michelle Robertson is a photographer from the Monterey Peninsula who focuses on fine art composite photography - storytelling through digitally reimagined photographs. These images are both beautiful and haunting.

Luis Avila, an airbrush, lettering, and graphic artist, has been custom building motorcycles and designing helmets for 10 years. He's inspired by his Mexican culture, Day of the Dead imagery, and Chicano lowriders.
