Casey Starks Studio presents an Introduction to Handbuilding Pottery Workshop on Sunday, February 19, 10am-12pm. Fee is $150. Please register on our website.
In this workshop you will learn general techniques for handbuilding pottery including slab, pinch, and coil techniques. Come with your ideas and play with clay! Some examples of items you can make: a cup, bowl, plate, or planter (students can select up to 2 pieces).
Casey will demonstrate various techniques and will help students one-on-one to execute their ideas. Class sizes are limited to just 4 students, guaranteeing Casey will have the opportunity to help everyone individually with their projects. No prior experience is required. Your pieces will be fired and glazed with a pretty white glaze and will be ready to pickup in 3-4 weeks.
