Bad news: we're closing our outdoor coffee shop for the fall and winter season.

Good news: we're adding another day to our cocktail bar schedule. Beginning Nov. 19, Pearl Hour is serving cocktails and sushi on the patio Thursday - Sunday evenings.

The Kiwanis Club of Monterey, Food Bank for Monterey County, and City of Monterey are working together to offer a drive-thru and walk-up Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 10am-2pm, at the Dennis the Menace Parking Lot.

Your pals at Nacho Bizness now have a big, fun, newly redecorated restaurant where they're slinging piping hot 'chos and burritos for take-out. They've still got great vegan and gluten-free options and all their take-out packaging is green certified.

On October 20, it was announced by the California Dept. of Public Health that all personal care services across the state are permitted to welcome clients indoors. This includes estheticians and skin care spas, electrology, massage therapy, nail salons, tattoo parlors, and piercing shops.

You're invited to call to your favorite Monterey personal care services provider and make an appointment, but please be patient. This announcement was unexpected, and it may take our fine professionals a couple of days to prepare their businesses to reopen. We thank you for supporting our small, locally-owned businesses.
