Trick-or-Treat Photos Now Online

Posted on November 4th, 2010 by Lighthouse District

Photos are now online of the Second Annual Children's Trick-or-Treat on Lighthouse, October 30, 2010. There were some really fun costumes this year - enjoy!

If you took photos at the event and would like to have them added to our online collection, please e-mail your favorites to [email protected].

The New Monterey Business Association would like to thank the many hard-working volunteers who made this event possible, as well as the many participating businesses and families who made it a great success!

Prime Personal Training is now joining forces with Wolf Fitness Systems to introduce PRIMEFIT: a different kind of boot camp, beginning November 8. Come experience a unique training system we're really excited about!

For a limited time only, we're offering PRIMEFIT classes in November and December for a total of $250 (that's $150 off the normal rate of $200 per month). We offer eight PRIMEFIT classes a week, and for the one fee you can take as many as you want!

Try out your first class for free, or join us for our free two-hour introductory workout on Saturday, November 6, 10am-12pm. For more information, please phone Prime at 831-324-4993.

The Bay View Academy Founders Group invites parents and teachers in the New Monterey Community to review and sign our petition for a charter school to replace the soon to be closing Bay View Elementary School. At least 100 signatures are needed before the petition can be submitted to the Monterey Peninsula Unified School Distict (MPUSD). This is your opportunity to ask questions, see the layout
of the education plan and lend your support.

Only parents of school age children or teachers can sign the petition. There are three opportunities to sign the petition:

  • Come to the Review and Sign Meeting on Wednesday, October 20th at Hilltop Park. Come anytime between 6pm to 9pm to the lower classrooms by the tennis courts.
  • Sign the petition outside Bay View Elementary on Thursday, October 21st and Friday, October 22nd in the morning or afternoon.
  • Email the Bay View Academy Founders Group at [email protected] and the petition will be brought to you.
