The New Monterey Business Association invites your business to become a sponsor of Movies in the Park, the free outdoor movie series held at Scholze Park on the second Saturday of July, August, September, and October.

For $200, you can become a Series Sponsor. In return, your business logo and name will appear on all promotional material, advertisements, posters, tickets, and on LighthouseDistrict.net in ads run year-round; two promotional slides will be included in a pre-film slideshow; and your business's banner will be displayed at each movie (sponsor must provide banner).

We are also seeking raffle items for each event. All you need to do is submit a gift certificate or any other family-friendly raffle item to be given away just prior to the film screening. This is a great opportunity to spotlight your business or service.

Mrs. Delish's Cupcake Boutique is happy to announce that we now serve fresh brewed Vertigo coffee from San Juan Bautista. Be sure to try a cup with one of our sweet treats!

In an age of computerized programmable roasting machines that reduces a roaster's role to that of a quality control manager, Vertigo specializes in the old world craft of small batch, slow drum roasting. Using a vintage German made cast iron roaster and time tested tools as touch, sight, and smell, they practice the art of roasting in the old, venerable traditions of Northern Italy. All the coffees are hand crafted just a few pounds at a time, slowly, with love and magic.

Trying to reduce your waste? Ma's Green Living in New Monterey's Lighthouse District has signed up with Terracycle to become a collection point for the Tom's of Maine Natural Care Brigade! That means we're now accepting certain personal care and oral hygiene items for recycling.

Ma's Green Living is now collecting: mouthwash bottles and caps, deodorant containers and caps (non-aerosol only), toothpaste tubes and caps, soap packaging, floss containers, and toothbrushes. Just stop by and drop them off!

The more items we recycle, the more money Tom's of Maine will donate to our selected charity, Save Our Shores, a non-profit marine conservation organization based in Santa Cruz.
