National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at Monterey Police Department

Monterey Police Department is participating in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 23, 10am-2pm, to help people dispose of potentially harmful prescription drugs.

At that time, you can drop off potentially dangerous prescription medications at Monterey Police Department for safe disposal. This includes tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs. Please note: liquids (including intravenous solutions), syringes and other sharps, and illegal drugs will not be accepted.

Monterey Police Department will continue to accept vaping devices and cartridges at its drop-off location, provided lithium batteries are removed.
