National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at Monterey Police Department

Monterey Police Department is participating in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 23, 10am-2pm. At that time, you can drop off unused or out-of-date prescription medications at MPD for safe disposal. This includes tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs.

Please note: liquids (including intravenous solutions), syringes and other sharps, and illegal drugs will not be accepted.

Charity Auction for Handmade Rocking Chair at Poppleton's

Poppleton's Fine Furnishings and Interior Design is now hosting a silent charity auction featuring this beautiful, handmade rocking chair by artisan John Bassette. All funds from the auction will go to the Afghan Refugee Extraction Program , which is raising money to rescue Afghan allies and their families.

New Personal Trainer at Kadalyst

Kadalyst Wellness and Physical Therapy at 191 Lighthouse Avenue introduces Emily, our new Personal Trainer. She is also a certified health coach, athletic coach, and fitness nutrition specialist. Register to Vote in 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall, September 14

Election Day for the 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall Vote on September 14 is fast approaching. If you want the chance to participate, make sure your registration is up-to-date at voterstatus.sos.ca.gov . The last day to register to vote online is August 30.

MST Seeks Volunteer Navigators

MST Is seeking volunteers to serve as MST Navigators. Navigators promote MST services and mobility programs to the public, support mobility specialists with travel training activities, and provide MST with vital feedback about the routes and services that so many Monterey County residents depend on.
